Russian proxies conducted the largest number of attacks in ATO zone in the Mariupol sector, reaching 18 incidents. They violated the ceasefire 10 and 7 times in Donetsk and Luhansk sectors correspondingly, reported Ukrainian Ministry of Defense spokesman on ATO Colonel Andriy Lysenko during a press briefing at Ukraine Crisis Media Center. No Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action yesterday, but two servicemen were wounded.

In Mariupol sector militants conducted two mortar attacks in Krasnohorivka.  In other frontline areas, they used snipers and armored armaments several times. “Traditionally Russia proxies are more active in the afternoon, and main hostilities take place in the south near the Azov Sea,” said the spokesman.

In Luhansk sector hostilities occurred in Syze, Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske and Katerynivka in the afternoon.  Militants conducted a series of 10-40 minutes long attacks. They used mortars three times.

Main hostilities in Donetsk sector took place in Kamianka-Pisky frontline. “Most hostile attacks was quite lengthy. Militants used no heavy armor. The enemy attacked Zaitseve twice, but the ceasefire held in other areas,” informed Col. Lysenko.
