“We won one of the six demo-days of the final competition of Citi bank, beating strong projects from India and Kenya. All six winners (out of 103 contestants) will get Citi’s support in implementing their projects worldwide. Tomorrow I am meeting the Minister of the Indian state Telangana with population of 30 million people, he is very interested in our system. The project ProZorro.Sale is alsoquite actively discussed in terms of implementation and other participants,” elaborated Soboliev.
ProZorro.Sale’s victory in CitiT4IChallenge proves that in Ukraine a truly open and transparent system exists, which is unique even on global scale. This victory is especially valuable given that competition is a competition among the anti-corruption startups.
“For the Deposit Guarantee Fund, which is responsible for the elimination of nearly 90 banks and sale of their property, creating fair and equitable system to sell assets was an objective number one. And it was implemented thanks to the cooperation with ProZorro team,” said the director of the Fund Konstantyn Vorushylin.
With more than 70 countries and 1,000 participants 103 projects made it to the finals. The largest number of solutions was proposed by the United States (24), India (18), and UK (14).
