ANNOUNCEMENT: Elections Cybersecurity Threats: How Vulnerable Is Ukraine?

On Friday, November 30 at 04:00 pm, the press center of the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center(Kyiv, 2, Khreshchatyk Street) will host an online round table with the participation of the representatives of the Marshall Fund of the United States (Washington), the Friends of Ukraine Network (Washington) and Reanimation Package of Reforms.

The discussion will focus on cybersecurity in the context of upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections in Ukraine. Leading Ukrainian experts will share their assessment of the vulnerability of the Ukrainian electoral system to potential cyberattacks, in particular from Russia; what steps should be taken by the Ukrainian government, the CEC, the cyber police and other government agencies to counter these threats; and how civil society and the international community can support these efforts.

Thomas Chanussot, Global Technology and Cybersecurity advisor to the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES);

Olha Aivazovska, chair of the board of the Civil Network OPORA, Chair of the Board of the International Renaissance Foundation in Ukraine;

Olena Prokopenko, head of the International Relations at Reanimation Package of Reforms;

Jonathan Katz, Senior Fellow at the Marshall Fund of the United States (Washington);
