Kyiv, February 10, 2015. Debaltseve and nearby localities remain the most dangerous place in Eastern Ukraine. “The enemy fired 18 times at this direction from almost all types of weapons they have in the last 24 hours. Novohryhorivka and Popasna have suffered most,” said Anatoliy Stelmakh, spokesman for the ATO Staff, at a joint briefing with the acting spokesman for the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at Ukraine Crisis Media Center. Militants are consistently shelling at the city. The city infrastructure is increasingly devastated. Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding their lines of defense and are not going to leave their positions.

The number of storming attempts that Pro-Russian militants undertook against the ATO forces has increased over the night on 10-11 February. Russian and terrorist troops tried to attack Ukrainian Army units twice at around 10 pm and 12 pm in the area of Novohryhorivka town.

Last night militants intensified their activities at the Mariupol direction. They shelled Myrne and Novoselivka from Grad missile systems.

Illegal armed groups fired a total of 35 times at Ukrainian positions over the night. “Seven Ukrainian servicemen were killed in action and 23 were wounded,” noted Vladyslav Seleznyov, acting spokesman for the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the briefing.
