Kyiv, September 18, 2015. The situation remained stable in the ATO zone between September 15 and 17. Pro-Russian militant groups mostly respected the truce, though sporadic fire attacks took place at the frontline, said Lieutenant Colonel Anatoly Stelmakh, the ATO headquarters spokesperson, at Ukraine Crisis Media Center via Skype.

“Overall number of ceasefire violations reached 13 in the period of September 15-17”, said the spokesperson.

Armistice still held on September 18. ATO troops incurred no fire attacks from midnight to 6 a.m., said Lt. Col. Stelmakh. “Nevertheless, our observers registered a howitzer attack at 1:00 a.m. at the militant positions near Horlivka,” said the spokesperson.
