Kyiv, January 29, 2016. “Hromadske Radio” is launching a new morning talk-show “Morning Wave”. The program will be on air every day, from 07:00 a.m. to 09:00 a.m. on weekdays and from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on weekends. “Morning Wave” is broadcasting all the recent news and advertisements of the current day. We will be inviting people to provide comment on the events of the previous day, as well as those who planned to do something interesting during the coming day,” informed Kyrylo Lukerenko, “Hromadske Radio” chief editor, at a press briefing at Ukraine Crisis Media Center. Apart from the news and analysis of events with participation of invited experts, the program will air music and weather forecast. Dmytro Tuzov will be the main presenter of the program.

“This is an own production program broadcasted in our network. It is also possible to listen to it online, at hromadskeradio.org website. One can hear podcasts recorded on the basis of the aired program,” said Andriy Kulykov, Chairman of “Hromadske Radio” Board. The program “With a Clear Head” which used to be on air before was a joint project with “Radio Promin”. Nevertheless, “Hromadske Radio” journalists will be making the new program independently.

Authors of the program emphasized that they will follow the principle of objectivity and impartiality. “[This program] is made by people beyond business structures, power structures of political parties. Our view allows us cover the events as they are, avoiding external influence,” emphasized Lukerenko. Main sponsor of the program at present is the government of the United Kingdom and private persons supporting “Hromadske Radio” with their donations. “The most important thing is that these people do not interfere with our editorial policy and do not regulate what is to be aired,” stated Lukerenko.
