Remembrance Day of Crimean Tatars as Victims of Genocide

May 18 is the day when Ukraine honors the Remembrance Day for Crimean Tatar people as Victims of Genocide. In May of 1944 the Soviet authorities evicted more than 183,000 Crimean Tatars in just three days. More than half of them later died in exile. Ukraine Crisis Media Center created infographic about this terrible page in the history of Ukraine.

[When publishing the infographic, a reference to the Ukraine Crisis Media Center is compulsory]
