Col. Lysenko noted that Russia-backed militants carried on using heavy weapons in the Luhansk sector: “The enemy shelled Ukrainian military positions near Novotoshkovske from 120mm mortars three times, as well as used 152mm artillery close to Tryokhizbenka in the nighttime.” According to Col. Col. Lysenko reported of only two ceasefire violations in the Mariupol sector; however, militants used heavy mortars in the area of Novotroyitske.

Ukrainian border guards spotted two flights of militant UAVs.

One Ukrainian servicemen was killed in action and two more were wounded in the last 24 hours.

Ukraine’s Security Service detained a militant informer in the Vynnytsia region who was recruited by the Russian GRU operative with nom-de-guerre “Starshyna”. The detained informer used to gather intelligence on the Ukrainian troops stationed in the region.
