On Friday night Ukrainians commemorated one year anniversary since over 100 activists were gunned down by security forces during the Euromaidan revolution.  Commemoration Days for the Heroes of “the Heavenly Hundred” were taking place all over Ukraine.

Around 15 thousand people came to the Maidan square on Sunday to take part in the Dignity March. The participants of the march also included the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the Presidents of Poland Bronisław Komorowski, of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė and of the European Council Donald Tusk.

Stuation in Ukrainian regions is being destabilized: on February 22 a package with an explosive device was left near restaurant in Odessa.  On February 22 an explosion happened during peaceful march in the center of Kharkiv.  Three people were killed and about 10 injured. The Security Service of Ukraine detained suspects who are presumably involved into organization of carrying out of the blast in Kharkiv.  Later the advisor for the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivskyi informed that “a number of acts of terror was planned in Kharkiv for February 22”.  Top level of terrorist threat has been invoked in Kharkiv, said the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Oleksandr Turchynov.  According to him, the group which carried out the act of terror had been trained in Belgorod in the Russian Federation.
