Kyiv, March 9, 2016. Kostiantyn Goloskokov is a commissar of a Russian movement ‘Nashy’ (eng. ‘Ours’) set in 2005 in response to the Orange Revolution in Ukraine by Vladislav Surkov, adviser of the president of the Russian Federation. The main goal of the initiative was “to stop the “orange threat” and prevent American intrusion into Russia”. He actively participated in organising pseudo referendums in Transnistria and South Ossetia; cyber-attacks on state websites of Estonia in 2007; was a “political provocateur” at the elections in Kosovo in 2008; initiated entering Ukrainian organization UNA-UNSO in the list of terrorist organizations in Russia; the president of Syria Bashar Asad praised “his active participation in the life of the country” in 2011-12.  His active pro-Russian activity has been registered since 2006 on the territory of Ukraine. He was repeatedly detained for attempts to plant a Russian flag at military objects, campaigning in support of the so-called “Russkiy mir” etc. “Wherever Russia requires political intrusion, we see the Nashy movement and other similar movements,” said Oleksandr Tkachuk, chief of staff at the head of the Security Service of Ukraine at a press briefing at Ukraine Crisis Media Center.

Tkachuk also said that Ukrainian law enforcements detained a Russian citizen Vladislav Kondalov. He carried a Kalashnikov assault rifle, documents of the self-proclaimed “Luhansk People’s Republic” and a medal “For Debaltseve”. “He said he came from Samara. […] Previously he was serving sentence for various violent offences. In total, he spent 16 years in prison,” added the SBU representative.

He also confirmed that a Russian citizen Anastasiya Leonova was engaged in preparation of terrorist acts in Kyiv and Kharkiv. “She was charged with participation in a terrorist group and preparation of a terrorist acts,” added Tkachuk.
