Ministry of Defense: Russian proxies hit a residential house with a 152-mm artillery shell

Russia-backed militants shelled Pidlisne village in Luhansk region and hit a residential house with a 152-mm shell. “The house was severely damaged. Luckily, neither of the house residents were injured,” said Ukrainian Ministry of Defense spokesman on ATO Colonel Dmytro Hutsulyak at a press briefing at Ukraine Crisis Media Center.

Russian proxies delivered five attacks over the last day having fired fifty-six 82-mm and 120-mm mortar rounds. Ukrainian troops returned fire once.

In Luhansk sector, Russia-backed militants shelled Ukrainian positions near Troitske having fired thirteen 120-mm mortar rounds.

In Donetsk sector, militants violated the ceasefire four times. “The enemy shelled Ukrainian strongholds in Pisky area with 120-mm mortars and twice upon attacked Ukrainian troops’ positions outside Lebedynske with 82-mm mortars. Near Kamianka militants used small arms only.

Unfortunately, three Ukrainian troops were wounded in action over the last day. “Two of the casualties are in the satisfactory condition, while the condition of the third serviceman is grave,” Colonel Hutsulyak elaborated.
