According to the decree №882 from 17th of November, President Petro Proshenko appointed Igor Rainin deputy head of the Presidential Administration. Earlier Rainin worked as the first deputy head of Kharkiv regional state administration.

Terrorists of DPR and LPR are planning to demand to fix their borders within Donetsk and Luhansk regions, one separatists’ leader Denis Pushilin said. “It is logically to demand fixing our borders within Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” he said. Pushilin explained this goes from economic linkage of regions.

On Monday, 17th of November nearly 2 thousand people were protesting at the pro-Ukrainian meeting in Sverdlovsk, Luhansk region. Activists were shouting, appealing to terrorists: “Go away from our city!”. Another brave man wrote near the building of the executive committee “Sverdlovsk is Ukraine”. Russian Cossacks had tried to regulate the situation, but they were suddenly stopped by Sverdlovsk militants who unexpectedly happened to support locals.

There is an initiative to rename Dnipropetrovsk city. To fulfill it, a referendum should be held. Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration also presented a new logo of the region. The previous one has remained only for 2 years. In RSA explained they need to change it to represent properly on the European level. According to governor’s adviser Boris Treigerman, small amount of citizens pronounce the full name of the city. “It happens, everybody says: “Dnipro” or “Dnepr”. It is faster and more convenient,” Treigerman explained.

Deputies of Simferopol city council appointed Hennadiy Bakharev the head of state administration. 34 deputies voted for his candidacy at the city council special session. The so-called head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov said after appointment of the administration, Simferopol will match all standards of Russian Federation.
