Former officers of Crimean \u201cAlpha\u201d subdivisions are being actively converted my Russians after Crimea occupation. This was the announcement head of the Military Political Studies Center, \u201cInformatsiynyi Sprotyv\u201d (\u201cInformational Resistance\u201d) group coordinator Dmytro Tymchuk during his media briefing in Ukraine Crisis Media Center.<\/p>\n

\u00abAccording to our information, after occupation of the Crimea active process of conversion was taking place. Part of \u201cAlpha\u201d and \u201cBerkut\u201d officers defected to Russian side and are ready to work to the advantage of Russia. Groups consisting of these special forces officers were formed ad sent to Federal Security Service of Russia training center in Moscow region, where they retrained. At present these people are actively forwarded to Donbas territory\u00bb, \u2013 stated Dmytro Tymchuk. Besides, head of the Military Political Studies Center added that, according to their studies, within recent years, during Yanukovych\u2019s presidency, these were Crimean subdivisions that received the best provision with latest weaponry and special equipment. Speaking of the event in Slovyansk, Mr. Tymchuk remarked that the combat activity continues. The fact of children being taken to \u201cArtek\u201d children\u2019s camp is the one causing special concern: \u00abToday in the afternoon a group of 200 children is planned to be taken out, as though to \u201cArtek\u201d children\u2019s camp. Now we are verifying the details of this \u201ccampaign\u201d. So called local authorities of Slovyansk did not agree this issue with the anti-terrorist operation forces. We have no information of the agenda and transportation procedure. We fear that it might be a planned terrorists\u2019 action aimed at provoking Ukrainian special forces\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Giving comments to a question of a pilotless aircraft with was shot down by the anti-terrorist operation forces yesterday, Dmytro Tymchuk once again confirmed that it was a Russian flight vehicle. \u00abThe model used by terrorists matches the aircraft model produced in Russia. Body and engine are made in Russia and electronic \u201cfilling\u201d is produced in Taiwan. Experts are now establishing the exact purpose of the aircraft and tasks it could be performing in the battleground on the terrorists\u2019 side. As soon as we receive the checkup results, we will release them to the public immediately\u00bb, \u2013 added Mr. Tymchuk.<\/p>\n
