At the rally in Donetsk 2 thousands of protesters were cheering separatists fighters. The former \u201cpeople\u2019s governor\u201d Pavel Gubarev told the crowd rebels had left Slovyansk following \u201ca genius plan\u201d of a so-called minister of defense Igor Strelkov. Gubarev also states the partisan war would begin around the whole perimeter of Donetsk. \u201cWe will drown these wretches in blood,\u201d he said.

\nUkrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said the police at the Donbas would be restructured, but before this happened, policemen from all the country would be sent to this region. Minister underlined the necessity to rotate policemen who have \u201clow morale and professional qualities.\u201d He also stated that military officers, among whom could be the representatives from the police, would be sent to the recaptured cities.
