Putin awarded the honorary title of “Guardi<\/a>an” to the 64th Motorized Rifle Brigade, which is responsible for the massacre in Bucha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of the russian president, congratulations were sent to the command and personnel of the brigade:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 “Skillful and resolute actions of the unit\u2019s personnel during the special military operation in Ukraine are an example of military duty, courage, dedication and high professionalism” , the telegram says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0“For mass heroism, resilience and courage” – that’s how putin’s decree described people who killed and tortured defenseless civilians, raped women and children, burnt them alive, looted their belongings and sent them to their families back in russia as “trophies”. That’s what “heroism” means in russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
