{"id":179429,"date":"2022-05-09T15:53:22","date_gmt":"2022-05-09T12:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uacrisis.org\/226-ditej"},"modified":"2022-05-09T16:53:16","modified_gmt":"2022-05-09T13:53:16","slug":"226-ditej","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uacrisis.org\/en\/226-ditej","title":{"rendered":"226 Ukrainian children were killed by Russians during the full-scale invasion"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As of the morning of May 9, 2022, more than 641 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation &#8211; 226 children were killed and more than 415 received injuries of varying severity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pgo.gov.ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">was reported by the Office<\/a> of the Prosecutor General.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Children suffered the most in Donetsk region &#8211; 139, Kyiv region &#8211; 116, Kharkiv region &#8211; 99, Chernihiv region &#8211; 68, Kherson region &#8211; 46, Mykolaiv region &#8211; 44, Luhansk region &#8211; 44, Zaporizhzhia region &#8211; 28, Sumy region &#8211; 17, Kyiv city &#8211; 16, Zhytomyr region &#8211; 15<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These data are not conclusive, as inspection of sites of active hostilities and liberated settlements and receiving information on the temporarily occupied territories are underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>On May 8, it became known about the death of a 13-year-old girl who was in one of the cars of a convoy of private cars, which on May 4 were fired upon by the occupiers in the Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv region.<\/li><li>On May 7, two girls aged 9 and 13 were wounded by enemy troops in the villages of Bilohorivka and Shypilove in the Luhansk region.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the constant bombing and shelling of Ukrainian towns and villages by the Russian armed forces, 1,635 educational institutions were damaged, 126 of them were completely destroyed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of the morning of May 9, 2022, more than 641 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation &#8211; 226 children were killed and more than 415 received injuries of varying severity.
