While Russia suffers defeat after defeat in Ukraine, it is also distracted from the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia. While the conflict seems to be frozen now, there is a risk of it turning into a full-scale war between the two countries \u2013 and it also directly affects Moscow\u2019s interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Ukraine supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan and welcomes the peace initiatives and negotiation process between the two countries, Russia, a close ally of Armenia, is now unable to provide the latter with military help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Russian occupation army discredits itself every day with new war crimes and terrorist attacks, the Kremlin also starts losing its influence and strategic dominance in the post-Soviet space – and it is also a symptom of the redistribution of spheres of influence in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
