Since the start of Russia\u2019s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, tens of thousands of square kilometers of Ukrainian land have been contaminated by mines and explosive objects. Terror against the civilian population is a traditional strategy of the Russian occupation army which is doing everything to destroy Ukrainian infrastructure and cause damage to the Ukrainian economy for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Territories where military actions are being carried out as well as temporarily occupied ones are subject to survey uh h and humanitarian demining intervention.
Tens of thousands of square kilometers have to be cleared before Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied areas may return to their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such measures need funding, and external support may facilitate the process since the humanitarian demining is rather expensive. Also, it will help to save thousands of lives of civilians who continue to suffer from mines and explosive materials even after the liberation of their cities and villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
