Ukraine retakes Kherson<\/strong>\ud83c\udf49<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, November 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces entered Kherson amid Russia\u2019s claims of \u201ccomplete withdrawal\u201d of its troops from the right (western) bank of the Dnipro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia\u2019s Defense Ministry said its troops finished withdrawing from the western bank of the river at 5 a.m. \u201cNot a single unit of military equipment or weapons have been left on the right bank,\u201d the statement said, contradicting reports by the Ukrainian troops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday reports spread of the Antonivskyi bridge across the Dnipro being destroyed allegedly by retreating Russian forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, first photos of the Ukrainian troops in Kherson were posted to social media. Ukrainian flags were flying in central Kherson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with Radio NV, advisor to the head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak assumed that Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the operational group Sloboda will soon share the details of de-occupation of the right bank of the Dnipro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tarnavskyi \u201cefficiently planned a difficult operation to recapture and unblock the land in southern Ukraine,\u201d Podolyak said.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of Mykolayiv region returns to Ukrainian control, except Kinburn Spit, Kim says<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s now official: all of Mykolayiv region except the Kinburn Spit has been liberated,\u201d head of the Mykolayiv regional military administration Vitaliy Kim said on Telegram. The water pipe that feeds the city returned to Ukrainian hands, but requires demining, the head of the regional military administration said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kim said he will further update the residents of prospects to restore supply of drinking water in Mykolayiv. He also said he is happy and proud of the people of Kherson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forty-five Ukrainian service members released in prisoner swap with Russia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ukraine secured the release of 45 members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in another prisoner swap on Friday, November 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnother POWs swap. We managed to free 45 AFU soldiers [of the Ukrainian Armed Foces] and get back to Ukraine bodies of two fallen defenders,\u201d head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak twitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
