Many defenders of Mariupol still remain in Russian captivity, and their relatives have no information about their whereabouts, the conditions they are being held in and their physical and psychological state. The organizations such as the International Committee of the Red Cross have failed to ensure the proper procedure and the conditions POWs should be provided with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Ukraine is doing everything possible to release all imprisoned heroes, and exchanges regularly happen, this process is still too slow, as the winter conditions pose even more challenges for the Ukrainian POWs. With systematic use of torture by the Russians, according to many reports of released prisoners, the relatives and loved ones of the captured grow desperate with waiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UCMC shares testimonies of the four women that are doing everything possible to learn anything about their partners imprisoned by Russia and address all parties that may be able to speed the release of their loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
