The United Kingdom has been among the key supporter of Ukraine in its fight against the Russian Federation: even before the full-scale invasion, London provided Ukraine with lethal weapons for defense, and has steadily transferred arms and other kinds of aid to Kyiv ever since February 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, the UK has increased the Ukrainian military aid in recent months, with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announcing a \u00a350 million ($60 million) support package to Ukraine during a recent visit to Kyiv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides staunch military support, the UK has invested great efforts into helping Ukraine in the economic and political\/diplomatic areas. The country has also welcomed thousands of refugees despite much unnecessary bureaucracy involved comparing to other countries that opened their borders in the first months of war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though the UK itself has gone through quite a lot of political changes this year, when it comes to Ukraine, its stance remains unchanged \u2013 the support and understanding of the Ukrainian nation’s fight for its freedom has stayed solid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
