For Ukrainians, Hryhorii Skovoroda is not only a philosopher, traveller, and composer but also the one who influenced on the process of forming of Ukrainian identity. Skovoroda believed in the concept of happiness, which implies joy of the heart and the work that meets our calling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to Skovoroda, living in peace and harmony with both people and one\u2019s consciousness is now a part of being Ukrainian. Living in the times of early Enlightenment, he was not only theoretizibg but also living in the truth, looking for ways to turning his life in another philosophical work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, when Russia tries to deprive Ukrainians of their right to life, they also try to appropriate our philosophical heritage, calling Skovoroda a \u201cRussian\u201d philosophe, but freedom, his biggest value, is impossible to catch or steal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
