Russia launches drone attack on Ukraine overnight<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On the night of March 27 into March 28, Russia launched Shahed drones and guided air bombs against Ukraine. Russian Su-35 fighter jets that took off from Morozovsk airbase in Rostov region dropped two guided air bombs on Kherson region, the Ukrainian Air Force said. Russian forces launched 15 Shahed-136\/131 kamikaze drones, a Granat-4 surveillance drone, and two guided air bombs against Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukrainian troops destroyed 14 Shahed-136\/131 strike drones and a Granat-4 surveillance drone, the Ukrainian Air Force said, citing updated reports. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drone wreckage fell in Kyiv\u2019s Svyatoshynskyi district, sparking a fire across a 200-square-meter area in a non-residential building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko said there were explosions in Obolonskyi and Svyatoshynskyi districts. A shop was set ablaze in Svyatoshynskyi district, he later added. The fire was shortly localized. An administrative building in Kyiv that was damaged in a drone strike, has collapsed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bulgaria to supply Ukraine with ammunition. Britain\u2019s Challenger 2 tanks arrive in Ukraine<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bulgaria will most likely sell a huge amount of ammunition to Ukraine via intermediaries, which could significantly impact the war, former defense minister Boyko Noev told bTV in an interview. The caretaker Defence Ministry will transfer old ammunition worth nearly EUR 175 million to the state military plant VMZ and, in return, will receive new ammunition, the ministry announced. The goal is to send the vast amounts of old ammunition from warehouses of the Bulgarian army to Ukraine, Noev said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first of Britain\u2019s Challenger 2 main battle tanks have arrived in Ukraine. Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov tweeted a video Tuesday of himself taking a Challenger 2 for a test drive, confirming the arrival of 14 tanks. \u201cThese fantastic machines will soon begin their combat missions,\u201d he tweeted.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zelenskyi prepares for Warsaw visit<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

President Zelenskyi may soon visit Warsaw, Poland\u2019s Deputy Foreign Minister Pawel Jablonski told Polish radio. Zelenskyi had talks with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda, the Ukrainian President said on Monday. \u201cI told him about the course of fighting and the situation in certain areas on the front. We discussed Ukraine\u2019s current defense needs and joint diplomatic efforts for the near future. We are preparing for important events,\u201d Zelenskyi said in a Telegram post. He did not specify what he meant.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
