For over a year and a half, Russia has been waging a war of annihilation against Ukrainian identity. Therefore, Ukraine\u2019s presence in international cultural discourse is now vitally important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cultural diplomacy remains one of the key ways of representing Ukraine abroad and also a way to spread the word about the country\u2019s fight for freedom. Two months ago, Ukrainian Institute opened in Berlin to maintain a better understanding of Ukraine in German society and popularize Ukrainian culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Germany remains an important European partner of Ukraine, German audiences have limited knowledge about our culture and history, which is also always influenced by Russian optics. However, after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, decolonization is necessary not only inside our country\u2019s cultural process but also abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UKRAINE IN FLAMES<\/a> project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center<\/a> and NGO \u201cEuroatlantic Course\u201d<\/a>. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
