The first 10 Leopard 1 tanks donated by three countries have arrived in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong><strong>Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih kills one, injures 60 others<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih on Friday, September 8, destroyed a police administration building, killing one policeman and injuring at least 60 other people.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to preliminary reports, Russia struck the city with an Iskander-K cruise missile, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force Command Colonel Yuriy Ihnat said. Peace and calm will settle in Ukraine and in all of Europe when Ukraine gets its territory back, he said. Russia\u2019s war in Ukraine is complex and slows down a lot of processes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ukraine needs more of advanced weapons, including modern fighter jets, to accelerate its counteroffensive, Zelenskyi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe war is slowing down, we recognize that. All processes become more complicated and slow: from sanctions to the supply of weapons,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen some partners say: so what about the counteroffensive, when will the next step be? My answer: today, our steps are certainly faster than the new sanctions packages,\u201d Zelenskyi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong><strong>First 10 Leopard 1 tanks donated by three countries arrive in Ukraine<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first 10 Leopard 1 tanks donated by Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands have arrived in Ukraine, Denmark\u2019s armed forces said on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe first 10 tanks have been sent to Ukraine. And more are on the way,\u201d the Danish armed forces said in a statement. Danish troops in Germany are training Ukrainian forces to use the vehicles, the army added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI have no doubt that it will help them win the defence battle they are fighting right now,\u201d army commander Gunner Arpe Nielsen said in the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands announced in February that they would donate 100 of the German-made tanks in the \u201ccoming months\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong><strong>Re-assessing the history: Donetsk Oblast and Mariupol.
