The focus is on the complex and challenging task of conducting elections in Ukraine while the country is in a state of armed conflict. There is tension between the desire for speedy elections, as advocated by Western entities, and the practical difficulties involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, there are several significant obstacles, including legal constraints, safety concerns, outdated voter registries, infrastructure damage, and limitations on political competition and information dissemination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The constitutional challenges, particularly in the context of parliamentary elections, and how these difficulties are exacerbated by the ongoing conflict, voter displacement, and technological hurdles for engaging Ukrainians abroad. All these aspects of elections during martial time russian propaganda tries to use Moscow’s hand to destabilise the situation in Ukraine and, as a result, have benefits in war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
