Russian aggressive imperialism, manifested during the Chechen wars, the war in Georgia, the annexation of Crimea and, ultimately, the war in the Ukrainian Donbas, did not become a lesson for the world community. Failure to understand the threat on the part of the Kremlin freed the hands of the Russian regime and made it possible to start a full-scale war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the annexation of Crimea, the Putin regime felt free in its actions because it did not meet enough resistance from world leaders. An insufficient number of implemented sanctions, insufficient support at the level of diplomacy, and lack of military support for Kyiv led to well-known consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such a tactic of “appeasing the aggressor” can only lead to the promotion of further aggression and increase the tendency to start a global war between the countries of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
