Yuriy Boyko is a former co-head of the pro-Russian \u201cOpposition Platform\u2014For Life\u201d (OPFL) and a chairman of the \u201cPlatform for Life and Peace\u201d, which, in reality, is a new face of an old \u201cKremlin-friendly\u201d political party. As he has recently reemerged for the first time in months, Boyko immediately proceeded to push the Kremlin\u2019s narratives about various crimes Ukraine is allegedly committing against democracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his speeches, Boyko explores the war fatigue and grief of Ukrainians to create division in a textbook example of Russian hybrid warfare tactics. It is especially harmful in the times when Ukraine is fighting for its existence against Moscow\u2019s imperialist ambition and unity is crucial. Additionally, having him spread Russian-curated propaganda creates traction in the West and allows the Kremlin to use it as yet another weapon against Ukraine in the global arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
