Russia launched a major drone attack on the city of Kharkiv on Monday for a second consecutive night, injuring three people and sparking large-scale fires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The drones struck a civilian enterprise in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, causing a fire that spread across an industrial facility and a warehouse, covering an area of more than 3,900 square meters, the State Emergency Service said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov said the attacks came in two waves and that five drones hit targets. \u201cFive industrial buildings of a research and production enterprise were damaged,\u201d he said, adding that the drone assault on the city also damaged 11 apartment buildings and two kindergartens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Three injured men were treated on the spot, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Russia launched 131 drones and two ballistic missiles at Ukraine overnight on Monday. The Ukrainian Air Force said a total of 102 drones were shot down or disappeared off radar after likely being disabled by electronic warfare systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Donald Trump said he was \u201cvery angry\u201d and \u201cpissed off\u201d when Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the credibility of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy\u2019s leadership, adding that the comments were \u201cnot going in the right location.\u201d In a series of remarks on Thursday, March 27, Russian leader Vladimir Putin suggested Ukraine be placed under a form of UN- and U.S.-led temporary administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukraine\u2019s chief rabbi, Moshe Azman said on X: \u201cAt my invitation, a special guest has arrived in Ukraine \u2014 Pastor Mark Burns, President Donald Trump\u2019s special spiritual advisor. He is a well-known figure in the religious and political circles of the United States, whose voice today is important in shaping the new strategy and policy of America.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Burns traveled to Kyiv\u2019s outskirts of Bucha, Irpin, and Borodyanka \u201cto see with his own eyes the consequences of the atrocities committed by the Russian army against the peaceful population of Ukraine, and personally feel the reports of witnesses who lived through this terrible occupation,\u201d Moshe Azman added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Russian forces have advanced in the Donetsk region\u2019s village of Rozlyv, and near Panteleymonivka and Nove, DeepState, a Ukrainian OSINT project said overnight on Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They have earlier made advances near the villages of Katerynivka and Panteleymonivka in the same region, the analysts said on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Between March 25 and March 28, Russia conducted 200 assaults daily. The tempo of the assaults is the same as the one recorded in the second half of January 2025, DeepState said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in an update on Monday morning that 171 combat engagements happened in the past day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
