One year since the emergence of the so-called “people’s republics” resulted in the economic ruin on the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The industrial potential of the region is now in tatters. Numerous enterprises on the militant-held territories have been destroyed, while their machinery, goods and equipment have been illegally transferred to Russia.\u00a0The blissful ignorance of the current catastrophe by the “republic” leaders throws the local population into certain doubts as to what’s there to come.<\/p>\n
