Kyiv, October 28, 2015.<\/strong> <\/em>\u201cRecently the lists of artillery mounts remaining at the frontline have been verified. Withdrawal of cannons below 100 mm will start in the Donetsk sector today,\u201d said Presidential Administration spokesperson on ATO related issues Colonel Andriy Lysenko at a press briefing at Ukraine Crisis Media Center. One provocation was registered in the ATO zone yesterday near Zaitseve north of Horlivka. Members of militant groups used small weapons and grenade launchers, resulting in injury of one Ukrainian serviceman.<\/p>\n

A pedestrian crossing opened at the frontline in Stanytsia Luhanska. \u201cCrossing is allowed daily from 8.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m. provided the ceasefire is maintained,\u201d said Col. Lysenko.<\/p>\n

National guards captured a man in Luhansk region carrying fake documents issued by the self-proclaimed \u2018Luhansk People\u2019s Republic\u2019 (\u2018LPR\u2019). \u201cThe detained said he was a citizen of Russia and had spent four years in a penal colony near Magadan before coming to Donbas,\u201d said the spokesperson. The man was searched and given to law enforcement officers. Investigators also detained a man from Rivne region who was trying to join a militant group of the self-proclaimed \u2018LPR\u2019. The criminal was recruited at the beginning of 2015 on the territory of Russia by a militant with the nom de guerre \u2018Fomich\u2019. \u201cBoth recruiters serve in the ranks of the militant armed group \u2018Prizrak\u2019,\u201d said Col. Lysenko.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian law enforcement officers found a cache with ammunition. Ukraine\u2019s Special Services seized 19 pieces of 122mm devices and two items of ordnance for D-30 cannon near Krymske village in Luhansk region. \u201cExperts say this ammunition was either meant for blasting a bridge or a ferry or for installation of a large-yield trip wire,\u201d explained Col. Lysenko.<\/p>\n

23 vehicles with humanitarian aid from the International Red Cross Committee proceeded to the temporarily uncontrolled territory through Novotroyitske border crossing checkpoint. The trucks carried over 450 tons of food packages for inhabitants of Donetsk region. \u201cAnother truck carrying foodstuffs from an international charity foundation proceeded through Zaitseve checkpoint,\u201d said the spokesperson.<\/p>\n
