How should the decisions be implemented? What does this mean for the EU in the geopolitical sense? What are the consequences for the eurozone economy?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first reaction is disappointing so far. The value of the pound decreased by 10% (reached a minimum since 1985), the world markets also reacted correspondingly (index decline was 7.9%).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Needless to say about Ukraine that even without this referendum is facing considerable challenges on the thorny path to a visa-free regime with the EU and to Eurointegration. Apparently, the Ukrainian issue will hardly appear on the European agenda soon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore, it is time for a quick comprehension of the situation and adjustment of the Ukrainian government policy (including its communication component) towards the EU with consideration for the internal processes in the European Union. This is the largest event over the last quarter of a century. In addition to image bonuses, it has brought specific opportunities of cooperation that will have a beneficial effect on the economy of Ukraine. Among the achievements are arrangements on signing the the Free Trade Area Agreement with Canada (scheduled for early July) and arrangements on providing technical assistance to Ukraine.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>About some achievements &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/28QN489\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/28QN489<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">News about the internal market is more optimistic than the international news. The National Bank of Ukraine lowered the discount rate for the second time in 2016. From June 24, the bank rate will be 16.5%. The NBU Board motivated their decision by encouraging inflation expectations and stable situation on the currency market. As of May, the official inflation was 7.5%; foreign currency earnings increased. As to the future, the NBU claims with muted optimism that consumer inflation will be at the level of 12% + \/ &#8211; 3 p. p. at the end of 2016, and 8% + \/ &#8211; 2 p. p. at the end of 2017.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NBU\u2019s detailed reasoning on reviewing discount rate and financial forecast &#8211; <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/28R0PDA\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/28R0PDA<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Public procurement reform<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From procurement to sales: the system of electronic public procurement ProZorro increases the area of its activity. This time it concerns approaches to selling the property of banks under liquidation. The topic is more than urgent, because the banking system is undergoing clearing, so many disappear because of liquidation procedures, and then the question of how to sell their property arises. The price of the question is more than $ 440 billion. On the other hand, the process of selling such property leads to periodic complaints due to lack of transparency. So, ProZorro approaches which proved to be effective in public procurement will be applied to solving problems in the banking system. Technically, this intention will be realized through organization of decentralized auctions &#8211; similar to ProZorro auctions, but they will aim at higher prices.
