Weekly analysis of the Defense Ministry demonstrates a tendency of ceasefire violations in the Mariupol sector with a recurring trend to target energy supply facilities.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe vast majority of ceasefire violations took place in the Mariupol sector, stretching from Maryinka and Krasnohorivka all the way to Talakivka and Shyrokyne village on the Azov Sea coast,\u201d said Vilyen Pidgornyy, Ministry of Defense spokesperson at a press-briefing at Ukraine Crisis Media Center. As a result of militant attacks nine private houses, three buildings and 17 infrastructure facilities were damaged. \u201cVynohradne village in the Mariupol sector suffered the most: seven residential households and a gas pipeline were damaged there,\u201d stated the spokesperson.<\/p>\n

Armament in use<\/strong>
\nRussia-backed militants kept on violating ceasefire on a daily basis across the whole frontline. \u201cOverall, the number of hostile attacks registered was between 31 on November 3 at the lowest point to 52 on November 6 at the highest,\u201d informed the MoD spokesperson. Russia-backed militants continued to use heavy weapons banned by Minsk agreements, especially the 82-mm and 120-mm mortars, as well as 120-mm and 152-mm artillery and tanks. \u201cOn November 2 militants launched a salvo from Grad multiple rocket launchers in vicinity of Krymske village, Luhansk sector,\u201d added Mr Pidgornyy.<\/p>\n

Donetsk region updates<\/strong>
\nDonetsk sector remains one of the tensest areas. Avdiivka, Horlivka perimeter and Luhanske village were all major flashpoints with militants firing from mortars and artillery throughout the week.<\/p>\n

Recurring trend \u2013 damage to energy supply facilities<\/strong>
\nAccording Mr Pidgornyy, it is a recurring trend that militants target energy supply lines in both Donetsk and Mariupol sectors. There were over 15 incidents of hostile fire that threatened provision of basic services to civilians living in frontline towns and villages.<\/p>\n

Luhansk region updates<\/strong>
\nIn the Luhansk sector, area of ceasefire violations has expanded. According to MoD spokesperson,\u00a0tensions persisted in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska, Shchastya, Krymske and Popasna, including Novozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka villages.<\/p>\n

Casualties
\n<\/strong>Last week, three Ukrainian servicemen were killed in action, 17 were wounded in action. One serviceman was injured in booby trap explosion.<\/p>\n
