Avdiivka, the vicinity of the Donetsk airport and the Azov Sea are the most restless frontline areas. Three Ukrainian troops died and eight were wounded. One soldier was killed near Troitske and two died in the vicinity of\u00a0Halytsynivka\u00a0as a result of militants\u2019 attacks from Grad MRLS, said\u00a0the\u00a0spokesman\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Ministry\u00a0of\u00a0Defense\u00a0of\u00a0Ukraine\u00a0on\u00a0ATO\u00a0related\u00a0issues\u00a0Colonel\u00a0Oleksandr Motuzyanyk\u00a0at\u00a0a\u00a0press\u00a0briefing\u00a0at\u00a0Ukraine\u00a0Crisis\u00a0Media\u00a0Center.\u00a0\u201cRussian occupational forces brought up tanks to Avdiivka yesterday and started shelling ATO troops\u2019 positions.\u00a0Local inhabitants were victims of militants\u2019 attacks yet another time. A multi-storey building was damaged by a direct hit of militants\u2019 missile which left a family with five small children homeless,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mobile heating and food units continue working in Avdiivka. Heating and water supply was resumed this morning as a result of successful repair works.\u00a0As of 7 a.m. this morning, State Emergency Service of Ukraine evacuated 244 people from the town, 114 of them being children.<\/p>\n

Militants\u00a0resumed\u00a0hours-long\u00a0shooting\u00a0attacks\u00a0at\u00a0Butovka\u00a0coal\u00a0mineposition\u00a0and Ukrainian strongholds near Donetsk airport. \u201cOur rear area \u2013\u00a0Halytsynivka\u00a0village \u2013 came under rocket artillery fire just after midnight yesterday. It is located 15 km from the frontline. The enemy located in the occupied\u00a0Staromykhailivka\u00a0launched half service charge from BM-21 Grad MRLS\u00a0towards the village,\u201d said the spokesman. The situation was also restless at the Svitlodarsk bulge where militants were actively shooting at ATO troops from heavy large caliber weapons.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0the\u00a0Luhansk\u00a0sector\u00a0the\u00a0situation\u00a0was\u00a0the\u00a0most\u00a0difficult\u00a0in the Popasna district with epicenter in Troitske, where militants were using heavy weapons all day long. \u201cRussian proxies organized intensive artillery mortar attack at ATO troops\u2019 positions there yesterday, shooting from north-east direction,\u201d said Col. Motuzyanyk. Militants used no heavy armor in other frontline sectors.<\/p>\n

Shooting attack continued non-stop all day long in the south area of Mariupol sector, along\u00a0Pavlopil-Shyrokyne line. \u201cThe enemy kept using large artillery and mortar launchers and sporadically used tanks\u00a0in\u00a0southernmost\u00a0area \u2013 in Shyrokyne. The number of hostile missiles reaches hundreds. Russian proxies used rocket artillery early in the morning and late at night. In both cases, our positions in Talakivka came under Grad MRSL shelling,\u201d informed Col. Motuzyanyk.\u00a0Sartana\u00a0settlement was shelled from multiple rocket launcher systems\u00a0prohibited by Minsk agreements. One militants\u2019 mortar attack at ATO troops\u2019 positions was registered in Mariinka. Armed provocations and shooting attacks at Ukrainian troops\u2019 positions were repeatedly instigated in Krasnohorivka during the day. Russia-backed militant groups shelled Ukrainian positions near\u00a0Novotroitske\u00a0four times, using cannons and mortar launchers three times.<\/p>\n

According to Ukrainian military intelligence, military political authorities of Russian Federation warned authorities of self-proclaimed \u201cDonetsk people\u2019s republic\u201d that they will be dismissed in case they lose control over \u201cYasynuvata stronghold\u201d.<\/p>\n
