We present key numbers revealed by latest opinion polls. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201cRating\u201d. <\/strong>According to the opinion poll held by the \u201cRanking\u201d group on June 6-9, the support of \u201cSluha Narodu\u201d (Servant of People) party of President Zelenskyi has slightly decreased. At the same time the ranking of \u201cHolos\u201d (Voice) party headed by Sviatoslav Vakarchuk has gone up a bit. In comparison to the last week\u2019s opinion poll conducted by the same organization, rankings of other parties that overcome the five-percent threshold \u2013 \u201cOpposition Platform \u2013 For Life\u201d (Opozytsiyna platform \u2013 Za zhyttia), \u201cEuropean Solidarity\u201d (Yevropeiska solidarnist) and \u201cBatkivshyna\u201d (Fatherland) remain almost unchanged.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KMIS. <\/strong>Polling organization KMIS (Kyiv International Sociology Institute) has recently presented similar numbers. As of June 6-9, 47,5 per cent of voters who\u2019ve made up their minds and are going to vote, claim ready to support \u201cSluha Narodu\u201d. Last week the number of the party supporters was 48,2 per cent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other parties overcoming the five-per cent threshold are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>\u201cOpposition Platform \u2013 For Life\u201d chaired by Vadym Rabinovych and Yuriy Boiko \u2013 10,4 per cent (10,7 per cent last week, 10,5 per cent in May).<\/li>\n<li>\u201cEuropean Solidarity\u201d chaired by Petro Poroshenko \u2013 7,9 per cent (7,8 per cent last week, 8,8 per cent in May).<\/li>\n<li>\u201cBatkivshyna\u201d chaired by Yulia Tymoshenko \u2013 7,5 per cent (6,9 per cent last week, 7,3 per cent in May).<\/li>\n<li>\u201cHolos\u201d chaired by Sviatoslav Vakarchuk \u2013 6,4 per cent (5,6 per cent last week, 4,6 per cent in May).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Several more parties are about to overcome the election threshold. \u201cSyla i Chest\u201d (Strength and honor) party chaired by Ihor Smeshko gets 4,3 per cent of votes, \u201cHromadyanska Pozytsia\u201d (Civic position) chaired by Anatoliy Hrytsenko gets 2,4 per cent, Oleh Lyashko\u2019s \u201cRadical Party\u201d gets 2,5 per cent of votes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Almost 14 per cent of voters are undecided. The margin of error does not exceed 2,2 per cent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Socis. <\/strong>Center for Social and Marketing Research Socis conducted an opinion poll between May 29 and June 6. Among the voters who\u2019ve made up their minds and are going to vote, 51,3 per cent said they will cast their votes for &#8220;Sluha Narodu&#8221;, 9,5 per cent \u2013 for &#8220;European Solidarity&#8221;, 9,2 per cent \u2013 for &#8220;Opposition Platform \u2013 For Life&#8221;, 8,7 per cent \u2013 for &#8220;Batkivshyna&#8221;, five per cent \u2013 for &#8220;Strength and Honor&#8221; and 4,9 per cent \u2013 for &#8220;Holos&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A total of 4000 respondents were interviewed, the margin of error is 1,6 per cent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Socis is managed by the political advisor to the former President Ihor Hryniv<\/strong>. Thus, 51 per cent of the company\u2019s stock is owned by \u201cSerednyoyevropeiska Ahentsiya\u201d (Mid-European Agency), its founders are Hryniv\u2019s children \u2013 Roman-Danylo Hryniv and Maria Protsyuk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mixed electoral system. <\/strong>To remind, only half of the Parliament \u2013 225 MPs, is elected through party lists, half more \u2013 as candidates in majoritarian districts. There will be less than 225 majoritarian MPs as the elections will not be held in Crimea and in the occupied part of Donbas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To remind, on May 21 President Zelenskyi signed a decree ordering the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) and scheduled the early elections for July 21. The decree came into force on May 23.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A group of MPs consider this decision illegal, they presented an appeal to the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On June 11 the Constitutional Court started considering if the presidential decree dissolving the Rada and ordering early elections is in line with Ukraine\u2019s Constitution. At about 18:00 the court resumed the hearing behind the closed doors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Do Ukrainians support early elections?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the opinion poll held by the \u201cRating\u201d group between June 8 and 12, over the past month the number of respondents supporting early elections went up from 72 per cent to 88 per cent, only eight per cent are of the opposite opinion (18 per cent in May).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ahead of the early parliamentary elections Ukrainian polling organizations continue researching public opinion.
