Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has announced the beginning of an active phase of the anti-terrorist operation in Mariupol.
“The operation starts successfully. All terrorists key bases are taken under control. BRDM was shot down, terrorists sniper posts have been destroyed. Minister claimed heavy losses of separatists in the battle, only 2 soldiers of Ukrainian army were injured.”
According to operations control center, the minivan belonging to self-proclaimed People’s Republic of Donetsk (DNR) leader Denis Pushilin was blown up late on Thursday not far from Donetsk regional administration. Four people were injured in the blast, one remains in critical condition.
