The SMM in the areas to the east and north-east of Mariupol recorded 82 artillery and 19 mortar explosions.
“Shyrokyne and other areas to the east and north-east of Mariupol are one of the main hotspots”, – noted Alexander Hug. Thirty percent of all ceasefire violations were recorded in this area. “This is a 55% increase compared to the last week”, – added the First Deputy Chairman of OSCE SMM. The overall number of ceasefire violations fell by 25% last week.
