Russia holds drills simulating massive nuclear strike
On Wednesday, October 26, Russia held drills involving training for a massive nuclear strike. Putin oversaw the exercises via video link.
Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the aim of the drill was to practice carrying out a massive nuclear strike “in retaliation for the enemy’s nuclear strike”.
A Yars intercontinental ballistic missile was launched from Plesetsk cosmodrome, and a Sineva ballistic missile was fired from the Barents Sea to the Kura test site in Kamchatka province. Long-range bombers Tu-95MS fired air-launched cruise missiles, the Kremlin said.
Putin threatens the world with nuclear strikes against a backdrop of Ukraine’s military successes.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyi called on NATO for preventive action instead of waiting for Russia to implement its threats.

Poland’s Senate declares Russian government a terrorist regime
On Wednesday, October 26, Poland’s Senate, the upper chamber of the parliament, passed a resolution declaring the Russian government a terrorist regime.
The resolution passed unanimously by a vote of 85 to 0. “Russia’s aim is to wipe a sovereign country off the map and to wipe out the Ukrainian nation,” the resolution says. Today, Ukraine is “at the forefront defending democracy and freedom.” The Russian occupying forces are terrorizing Ukrainians and are bombarding civilian sites, the document proceeds.
“Bandits in Russian uniforms torture and kill prisoners of war and civilians in the occupied territories. They kidnap Ukrainian children (…). They resettle Ukrainians sending them to far-off Russian areas. Vladimir Putin and his apparatus of violence return to cruel practices of Stalin’s and Nazi regimes. That is why Russia must be defeated and must not be able to threaten its neighbors,” the senators said.
On October 13, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe passed a resolution calling on the Council of Europe member states to declare Russia a terrorist regime.
Russia continues missile terror
On October 25, a Russian missile strike killed two including a 25-year-old pregnant woman Inna Odanets.
The strike occurred at around 9:30 p.m., head of the Dnipropetrovska regional military administration Valentyn Reznichenko said.
“A Russian missile strike on Dnipro claimed the life of a young pregnant woman. Bastards. There can be no forgiveness for that,” he said. A Russian missile hit a gas station where Inna and her husband Maksym were staying. Maksym is in hospital with serious injuries. On October 26, an air raid alert was declared five times across Ukraine.
