The International Day for the Protection of Children in occupied Mariupol in 2022 was held in the spirit of propaganda. The school began to teach according to the program drawn up by the occupiers.
Petro Andriushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, reported about it in his Telegram channel.
Under the supervision of the Russians, school No 53 conducted a demonstration lesson in Russian with a guesting teacher. Also, the governor of St. Petersburg Aleksandr Beglov, who arrived in the city the day before, “presented” textbooks in Russian for children.
In addition, the city organized the distribution of “Alphabets of Donbass” and arranged a screening of the Russian cartoon series “Masha and the Bear” on the screen of a car in one of the squares of Mariupol.
“Everything is aimed at eradicating Ukrainian culture and planting Russian propaganda. Russian cynicism is no longer surprising in Mariupol,” wrote Andriushchenko.
In one of the districts of Mariupol, music from Russian cartoons is played on the street, and children draw war: tanks, Putin, weapons and destroyed houses.
“Russians killed the childhood of our children. Children draw war. Between Ukraine and Russia. As seen and heard from the words of adults. Pain. Real Pain. But even here, Mariupol children do not agree to surrender to Putin. We will win. Let’s go back. We will save our children,” Andriushchenko concludes.
