Head of the Hybrid Warfare Analytical Group at the Ukraine Crisis Media Center, Volodymyr Solovian, took part in a digital seminar named “Recent developments in the war: Different perspectives and prospects” organized by the Norwegian Network for Research on Ukraine (UKRAINETT).
Military and political aspects of the developments in the Russia-Ukraine war, including assessments of both the Ukrainian and Russian sides, were discussed during the seminar. Senior Research Fellow at the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment, Tor Bukkvoll, covered the Russian developments.

Dr. Volodymyr Solovian is the Head of the Hybrid Warfare Analytical Group at the Ukraine Crisis Media Center in Kyiv. Volodymyr completed a PhD degree in Philosophy at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2021. He is a specialist in information security, Russian disinformation and Ukrainian defence policy.
Dr. Tor Bukkvoll is a Senior Research Fellow at the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment. He is a specialist in Russian and Ukrainian security and defence policies. Bukkvoll has been a visiting research fellow at the University of Oxford (2008) and the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California (2019–2020).
