The loyalty of Belarusian authorities provides Russia with a bridgehead for missile attacks, fuel for Russian military equipment, and medical care for Russian troops. With Belarus planning to increase its military personnel from 45,000 to 80000, the threat of hitting Ukraine’s Volyn and Polissia fronts remains.
