Key Russian Fakes About a Missile Attack at Kremenchuk Shopping Mall

Russian missile attack on a crowded shopping center in Kremenchuk is one of Russia’s biggest recent acts of terrorism, as 18 bodies and remains of 7 killed people have already been found at the site. 21 people are still missing.

Meanwhile, Russian propagandists, their proxies and numerous bots online keep cynically spreading fake news about the strike, from saying it was all staged to claiming there simply could not have been so many people (there were around 1,000 at the moment of the attack) at the mall in wartime. The Kremlin thus aims to sow doubt about this tragedy and attempt to discredit Ukraine.
