Manual “A Roadmap for Implementing A Participatory Budget”

The guidebook was developed by the Public Association “Kharkiv University Consortium” under the project “Voice of Community in Local Self-Government” in Kharkiv Oblast, within the framework of the “Decentralization Offering Better Results and Efficiency” Program, that is implemented by Global Communities, and funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

Based on their own experience and results of DOBRE’s partner communities, experts of the Kharkiv University Consortium created “A Roadmap for Implementing a Participatory Budget”. The main goal of this handbook is to provide practical, clear and convenient tool for communities to implement their participatory budgets independently and successfully. To make this tool more versatile, experts created a visualization of the approach in the form of an “interactive” poster.

The manual will be useful for representatives of local governance; Youth Councils; civil society organizations; public and training institutions; and community initiative groups.
