Maria is a volunteer at the Vsi Poruch charitable foundation, one of whose activities is evacuation of disabled and sick people to safer regions and hospitals. In the Donetsk region, the volunteer helped evacuate the elderly. She felt and understood what old age was and why she should have been afraid of it.
