From the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine until August 7, the shelling of Mykolaiv caused damage to the city’s infrastructure amounting to 790 million UAH. This is according to Mykolaiv City Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych.

Russian shelling damaged more than 500 high-rise buildings, of which 30 percent have gone through repeated destruction. 70 residential buildings cannot be restored. In total, about 700 buildings were damaged.
