Putin on exit of republics from Soviet Union

This short fragment of Putin’s speech seemingly contains a record number of lies, manipulations and veiled threats.

Starting from the fact that there actually was an exit procedure for republics of Soviet Union supported by the law adopted on 3rd of April 1990 and all the way through to “willing” nature (frequently referred to as occupation) of how most republics ended up in Soviet Union in the first place.

Most importantly, this manipulation of history is a clear signal that Kremlin has not calmed down in its desire to redesign the map of Europe, and this desire remains an urgent threat to the national security of many countries.
