
Since February 24, 2022, Ukrainian rescuers have been extinguishing fires and clearing rubble non-stop. Even during emergencies, they risk their lives. During this time, 68 rescuers have died in Ukraine. Another 5 SES employees are in Russian captivity. This was announced by the head of the State Emergency Service, Serhiy Kruk, during a telethon.
In addition, 201 rescuers are injured.
