Yulia: The Next Navalny?

Yulia: The Next Navalny?

Alexei Navalny was believed to be the biggest competition to Vladimir Putin’s regime. After his imprisonment and death, Navalny’s “legend” continued to grow, with his wife Yulia taking up the mantle as the new face of the opposition. In her recent interview with BBC, Yulia Navalnaya went as far as to claim that she would join the next presidential election in Russia (only after Putin is no longer in power, of course).

While the interview seemingly covered a number of topics, there wasn’t much information in terms of Yulia Navalnaya and her team’s political plans or any news regarding their efforts as an opposition to Putin’s regime. A significant part of the interview was, in fact, dedicated to Alexei Navalny’s book, which is going to start selling shortly.
