The one who comes to help

A story of social workers in Kramatorsk

The war has increased the number of elderly single people with disabilities who cannot take care of themselves. Most of them have not evacuated because of poor health and therefore they have to rely on the support of social workers.

Previously, 20 people with reduced mobility were in a social worker’s care. But due to the war, this number increases. It’s hard to say no these people. Buying food, cooking, cleaning the apartment, getting a pension, paying utility bills – these are far from all the duties of a social worker. But the main thing is not to let the ward feel alone.
