Being a small European country with a population of more than half as small as in Ukrainian capital, Estonia has been a decisive and reliable ally of Ukraine since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. The country’s constant support of Ukraine is manifested on all levels, from military to diplomatic.
Having survived the traumatic experience of Soviet occupation, Estonians now stand with Ukraine, together with other Baltic states. The level of support for Ukraine in Estonian society remains high, Estonian diplomacy also systematically condemns Russian aggression against Ukraine.
The state keeps doing everything possible to provide military aid to Ukraine on the level of international organizations, not to mention providing military aid with its own equipment. How have Estonians and their attitude towards Russians changed over the last year?
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
